Job Summary

The Bethel, Alaska location is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse for a Medical Surgical Floor position. This role involves delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The successful candidate will coordinate nursing care for a diverse patient population, from birth to elderly, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Location: Bethel, Alaska
• Shift: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
• Start Date: 07/21/2026
• Required Qualifications: Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution; license in good standing as a Registered Professional Nurse in Alaska; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training; new graduates accepted; minimum experience preferred dependent on position.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric and adult experience; ability to manage behavioral health patients and utilize therapeutic communication.
• Additional Information: If the guaranteed hours are 40 per week, the first week will not have guaranteed hours due to orientation commencing on a Tuesday. All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID vaccinations.
