Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Surgical (ICU SURGICAL) Registered Nurse position in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) with a focus on trauma and level 1 trauma patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience.
  • Schedule: 36 hours day/night rotating shifts. All shifts are 12 hours rotating.
  • Additional Information: Unit type: SICU. Skills: CPR-AHA, ACLS. Experience: 2-3 years related work experience required. Must have SICU and trauma/level 1 trauma experience. EMR: Epic. Shift time: 36 hours day/night rotating. Submission requirements: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission. All RTO (Request for Time Off) requests must be presented at time of submission. No local travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility will be accepted. Start date: ASAP or within 4 weeks for compliance. Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday). The nurse manager will conduct interviews. IVS will extend offers if time off is less than 7 days and not over a holiday. Parking can cost up to $43 per day; please reach out for more details.
