Job Summary:
The healthcare organization seeks a Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician for a position located in Omaha, Nebraska. The candidate will join a dynamic surgical team focused on a variety of complex cases, including neuro, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room (OR) Tech
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including weekday and weekend call shifts
Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) certification; drivers license required at submission; minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical technology, with specific experience in neuro and orthopedic surgeries, and proficiency in robotic surgical procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: CST certification not required but preferred
Additional Information: This position involves exposure to trauma level 1 cases, working in an acute care setting. The shift pattern includes three 12-hour shifts per week, with rotating call duties from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM on weekdays, and rotating weekend call shifts approximately every five weeks. RTO (Requested Time Off) must be approved upfront, and no additional RTO will be granted after submission.
Float: No floating outside of the operating room.
Charting System: EPIC electronic medical record system.
