Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) nursing is sought for a travel assignment on the Stroke Unit within a healthcare facility located in Crestview, Florida. The position involves working night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Candidates are required to bring their active Florida state or multistate license on the first day of assignment. The role entails providing high-quality patient care on a specialized stroke unit, with an emphasis on stroke and neurovascular patient management.

Job Details:

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Stroke Unit
• Location: Crestview, Florida
• Schedule: Nights (6:00 p.m. 6:00 a.m.), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Florida state or multistate license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), minimum of 2+ years of recent Medical Surgical Registered Nurse experience, stroke experience must be included in submission
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior stroke unit experience, NIHSS certification, recent neurovascular patient care experience
• Additional Information:
  • The assignment is initially scheduled for 13 weeks.
  • Candidates must submit documentation demonstrating NIHSS and stroke experience.
  • Scrub colors, dress code, parking information, and specific EMR details will be provided upon hire.
