Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position involves working in an ER Holding unit with a metropolitan level of care, with scheduled shifts from Tuesday to Thursday nights. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role emphasizes clinical skills in emergency care and requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, with 2 years preferred.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). A minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two years of ER experience or more.
- Additional Information: Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit. Once contract is signed, travelers are expected to go in for labs within 48 business hours. Modules are non-billable, completed onsite during orientation, and recorded via transcripts. The role involves working with various clinical procedures including blood product administration, chest tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, and more. Placement requires pending New Mexico or Compact license to be accepted prior to start. Travelers are expected to float to like units as needed.
