Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, with a rotating day/night shift schedule. The position requires adaptability and strong clinical skills to support patient needs across all hours of operation.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Rotating day and evening shifts, scheduled for 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or equivalent; one year of nursing experience; location in Massachusetts; willingness to work a rotating D/N shift schedule.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-volume emergency department; familiarity with electronic health record systems; additional certifications such as ACLS, BLS, or PALS.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves delivering acute care services, adhering to hospital protocols and emergency nursing standards. The candidate must be prepared to respond to a broad range of medical emergencies.
