Description

Job Summary:
This is a registered nurse (RN) position in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) department located in Rutland, Vermont. The role involves providing specialized care during the delivery process and the immediate postpartum period on a 12-hour night shift from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Association of Womens Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) fetal monitoring certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Ability to assess and care for newborns at delivery, in the delivery room, and in the operating room.
  • Additional Information: Orientation is held on a biweekly basis. Schedule requests are subject to manager approval. Prior to submission, the work history must include the correct health system name and campus, bed count, electronic medical record (EMR) technology, facility type, trauma level (if applicable), and ratios. All employment gaps over 30 days should be explained or accounted for. Candidates must have reliable transportation, as public transit is not accessible. Profile packets with errors or incomplete information will be returned for correction. The offer process is managed through IVS.
