Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves providing quality patient care through comprehensive assessments, individualized care planning, and effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The RN will supervise clinical staff, ensure safety protocols are followed, and support patient education and discharge planning to promote positive health outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS Certification prior to first shift, ACLS Certification prior to first shift (if applicable), a minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit is highly desired.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops and implements individualized care plans, and participates in patient rehabilitation programs. Responsible for accurate documentation of all assessments and interventions, initiating discharge planning from day of admission, and providing patient and family education. Delegates appropriately, maintains communication with the healthcare team, and assumes charge responsibility following orientation. Demonstrates professionalism through ongoing education and effective time management.
