Description

Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is needed at a facility located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This role involves caring for patients recovering from various types of surgeries, including vascular, general, thoracic, gynecological, neuro, orthopedic, and transplant procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of work.

Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience required; valid nursing license; familiarity with vasoactive and sedative drips; knowledge of chest tubes and trachs; previous ICU and/or high acuity PACU experience preferred.
Schedule: Variable shifts starting at 0700, 0800, 0900, 1000, 1100, and 1900.
Additional Information: The PACU handles high acuity, high volume cases, including ICU-level neuro surgeries, step-down, and med-surg patients. Responsibilities include managing ventricular drains and other critical devices. The environment can be fast-paced and requires adaptability.
