Job Summary:
A Telemetry Nurse position is available in Cudahy, Wisconsin, within a Med Surg unit. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to geriatric patients with common diagnoses such as cardiac, neurological, and general medical conditions. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. This position requires a minimum of one year of Med Surg or Telemetry experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin
• Shift: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule cycle of six weeks, released three weeks prior to start.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other Med Surg units or hospital areas, including ICU, ER hold, etc.
• Additional Information:
  • Charge RN will take reduced patient assignments.
  • Support staff including HUC until 11:00 PM.
  • Phlebotomy for peripheral lab draws.
  • Hospitalist available 24/7.
  • RT and OT/PT/ST services available during the day.
  • Centralized telemetry monitoring with tech support.
  • Optional to take a 12-hour NEO shift to learn unit flow.
  • Weekend rotations every other week.
  • On low census, may be placed on call for up to 36 hours per contract.
  • RTO approval through manager.
  • Scrub color: any solid, professional color.
