Description

Job Summary:
The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized care to micropreemies and neonates with respiratory distress, infections, or NAS within a Level III NICU environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team and gain valuable experience in neonatal critical care.

  • Required Qualifications: RN licensure with BLS, NRP, and STABLE (preferred) certifications; minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Level III NICU setting; experience with neonates requiring CPAP, nitrate oxide, chest tube care, intubation, and ventilation; experience caring for micropreemies; transport experience (preferred)
  • Additional Information: First-time traveler reviewed upon application; Floats may be used on PEDS to care for NICU babies; support staff includes CNA (1:18), phlebotomist, charge nurse; in-house neonatologist and nurse practitioner available 24/7; orientation includes hospital-wide and unit-specific training; telemonitoring on bedside and nurses station; general hospital orientation followed by a shift on the unit
  • Support on the Unit: CNA support (1:18), phlebotomy, charge nurse responsibilities, telemonitoring with no tele tech, in-house neonatologist and NP
  • Floating: Possible on PEDS to support NICU patients
  • Scrub Color: Any color
  • Parking: Free
