Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare facility located in Statesboro, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized obstetrical care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases in the Labor and Delivery department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position begins on 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Statesboro, Georgia
• Anticipated Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Nights, 6:45 pm 7:15 am, minimum 36 hours per week, including weekend call shifts (2 every 6 weeks, with at least one on a weekend). Call shifts are 12 hours each.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); 2+ years of experience; at least two prior travel assignments in labor and delivery; ability to pass an EKG; experience with Cerner EMR and CPN (GE) EMR systems; must be able to pass an EKG.
• Preferred Qualifications: CPN (Certificated Pediatric Nurse) and Cerner EMR experience.
• Additional Information: Floating between departments in the Women's Pavilion may be required. The RN will circulate during vaginal deliveries, support C-sections in the operating room, monitor laboring patients, communicate with providers, and assist with neonatal resuscitation. The patient ratio is typically 1:1 or 1:2 in a unit with 13 beds. The scrub color is navy blue.
