Job Summary:
An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Augusta, Georgia, at a free-standing emergency services facility. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care, including assisting with common ED procedures, managing trauma patients, and utilizing advanced equipment such as bipap and ventilator devices. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Augusta, Georgia
• Shift: Nights, 48 hours per week, scheduled every other weekend
• Required Qualifications: Certified in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience; Georgia licensure preferred; experience with Meditech electronic medical records
• Preferred Qualifications: Positive, flexible, patient-centered, team-oriented personality; comfortable with trauma patient care and common ED chief complaints; experience in a Level II trauma center, cardiac care, stroke, burn, or NICU environments likely beneficial
• Additional Information: The facility is newly constructed with all new equipment, offering opportunities to learn and utilize bipap and ventilator technologies, as well as point of care testing. The team is in the process of full staffing to support this new facility.
