Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse for an assignment located in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves providing specialized care in a level III NICU setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment. The assignment duration is approximately 13 to 16 weeks, with work scheduled primarily during night shift hours.

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience; NICU level III experience; teaching facility experience; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years; large NICU teaching facility experience if no prior travel experience; ability to explain employment gaps over 90 days; all work history must be complete including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.
    • Other: Must bring nursing license on start day
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certifications: STABLE and RNC-NIC are preferred, please attach any additional certifications
  • Additional Information:
    • No block schedules; schedule is Sunday to Saturday with bi-weekly orientations on Monday; next available orientation date to be specified.
    • Every other weekend required; may be scheduled more frequently if needed.
    • Must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
    • Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
