Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) is needed in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves providing care on a surgical robotics (Med/Surg) unit with a focus on post-operative assessments and specialized procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Englewood, Colorado
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Day Shift and Night Shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Education and experience include a minimum of 0 years in Med/Surg post-operative care, Meditech electronic medical record experience, and U.S.-based licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in gynecology/oncology and urology is considered advantageous.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit staffed with 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 1-2 technicians during peak periods.
  • Patient-to-staff ratio of 5:1.
  • Typical procedures include post-operative assessments and care, prostatectomy and hysterectomy care, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), pain management with patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and epidurals, and Foley catheter maintenance.
  • The ideal candidate should be team-oriented, compassionate, flexible, and able to handle a fast-paced environment.
