Description
Job Summary:
This position is for an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Clinical Nurse located in Clovis, New Mexico. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care during day shifts. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Successful candidates must pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test prior to start. Floating between departments or local locations within 20 miles is required.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License; BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross; ACLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross; NIHSS certification; at least one 13-week previous travel assignment; two (2) years current experience in ICU
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Candidates will be evaluated based on experience in ICU, familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system (training can be provided), and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, clinical supervision, and collaboration with healthcare team.
