Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) position available in Tallahassee, Florida. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working in a busy trauma level 2 teaching facility, designated as a comprehensive stroke center and chest pain center, supporting various specialty Pods. Candidates must be flexible, team-oriented, and experienced circulating and/or scrubbing in all specified areas.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 3 years of CVOR tech experience; DaVinci (Xi and Si) Surgical System experience; trauma experience; no first-time traveler; at least 2 travel assignments; strong and willing to float to all different Specialty Pods where experienced.
- Preferred Qualifications: Extensive travel history, experience in level 1 trauma, community hospitals, and large facilities; Covid-19 vaccinated.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be strong, professional, punctual, and flexible for early start if needed. The candidate selected will support multiple units including neuro, ENT, OMFS, eyes, dental, plastics, ortho, cardiothoracic, vascular, general, GYN, urology, and robotics.
