Description

Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) position is available in Lewiston, Maine, within a facility that provides comprehensive 24/7 emergency care, cardiovascular services, and specialized units. The role involves working on the T3 Cardio unit with telemetry, post-operative catheter care, and cardiac drips with titration. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Specialty: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
Shift: Nights, 6:45PM 7:15AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Number of Openings: 1
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIH); 2 or 3 years of telemetry experience; EMR experience with Omnicell, EPIC, and Cerner; Experience in post-operative catheter care, management of dysrhythmias, and interpretation of dysrhythmias; MANDATORY float requirements excluding M3 unit
Additional Information: Unit is equipped with Sigma Spectrum intravenous (IV) pumps, ceiling hoist, portable hoist, portable cardiac monitoring, and defibrillators. Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients with common diagnoses such as stroke, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, and cardiacaths/stents.
