Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician specializing as a Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The position involves assisting in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and supporting surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
• Specialty: Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT)
• Schedule: 5 Days - 8 Hours, MID SHIFT, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program; BLS certification from AHA; certification as a Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation or an LVN/LPN license; no minimum experience required but 2 or more years of experience are preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in assisting with a variety of surgical specialties such as transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, robotics, etc. is highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves setting up operating rooms, assisting during surgeries, maintaining sterile environments, and adhering to safety protocols. The start date is needed ASAP to replace a previous staff member.
