Description

Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department (L&D) in ISSAQUAH, Washington, seeks qualified healthcare professionals for a night shift position. This role involves caring for postpartum patients, including those recovering from vaginal or cesarean deliveries, tubal ligations, and circumcisions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 07/13/2026.

Job Details:

  • Location: ISSAQUAH, Washington
  • Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: No minimum experience required; however, candidates must have a valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), along with a valid license.
  • Certifications: BLS, NRP
  • Additional Qualifications: Experience in community hospitals; travel experience required.
  • Special Procedures and Unit Details: Post-partum vaginal or cesarean delivery, tubal ligation, and circumcision; procedures include CPAP/BiPAP, blood/blood products administration, cooling/warming blankets, obtaining 12-lead EKG, managing drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound Vac, heparin, insulin, magnesium sulfate, OB-GYN procedures, post-op care, and scrub duties.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to NICU or L&D units.
  • References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, prior to start, including Charge RNs or Lead staff.
  • Additional Information: Completion of non-billable modules averaging 16 hours, with over 20 hours requiring project manager approval; modules are completed pre-start and annually, with self-reported time recorded in Workramp.
