Job Summary:
A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Operating Room (OR) for a position in Los Banos, California. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of OR experience and be proficient in a variety of surgical procedures and clinical skills. Candidates are required to bring their California RN license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Los Banos, California
• Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift
• Schedule: Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/21/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license; Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); At least 2 years of operating room experience; Experience with charting systems (preferably Community Hospital); Ability to work a schedule with every other weekend requirement and able to take on-call 12-14 days per month.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience; community hospital experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates must upload their Nursys license verified within the last 2 weeks, along with applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, and provide two references obtained within the past year. Vaccinations for COVID-19 and influenza are required.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Include performing a variety of surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, blood and blood product administration, ambulatory surgeries, amputations, ligament reconstructions, appendectomy, fistula repair, arthroscopy, tubal ligation, bronchoscopy, bunionectomy, cesarean sections, cardiac monitoring, and more. The role involves ensuring infection control, safety protocols, specimen handling, and use of surgical equipment within the OR environment.
