Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Fullerton, California. This role involves working night shifts and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position involves providing specialized care within a hospital setting, adhering to unit-specific protocols and competencies. Candidates must possess expert experience in performing sterile vaginal exams independently and be able to work weekends as required. Flexibility in scheduling and experience levels will be considered based on individual qualifications.

Job Details:

• Location: Fullerton, California
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Advanced (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), BCLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); 2 years of experience preferred, with consideration for candidates with under 2 years depending on their experience, including a 1.5-year hard stop. Expert experience in performing sterile vaginal exams independently is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic health record system experience, prior community hospital work, and experience with trauma level II units are a plus.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be willing to work every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding this if required to meet unit needs. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at time of submission. Orientation hours to be determined by the facility. Candidates must be open to floating between units, including mother-baby units, as needed.
