Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in telemetry (RN TEL Float) is sought for a position in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The role involves working night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with an expectation to bring a valid Illinois license on the first day. Candidates should have experience with EPIC charting, at least two years of strong medical-surgical background, and prior resource or float pool experience is highly preferred.

Job Details:

• Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
• Schedule: 12-hour Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification, EPIC charting experience, 2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience, prior resource or float pool experience preferred, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in resource pool or float environment, familiarity with rotating across multiple inpatient units.
• Additional Information: Orientation sessions occur on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with credential verification due the Thursday before starting. Orientation hours total 24 hours, with 12 hours nonbillable. Candidates must submit an updated resume, skills checklist completed within the last 12 months, one reference completed within 12 months, and Illinois license verification.
• Floating Requirements: All floating for the resource team within the facility. Nurses will remain at the facility but rotate across Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Experience Requirements: 2+ years of strong Medical-Surgical experience and familiarity with resource pool or float environment is strongly preferred.
