Job Summary:
The Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse is based in Fullerton, California. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting, focusing on open heart procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for days, with shift hours from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Job Details:

• Location: Fullerton, California
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH)
• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, with a shift time of 10 hours. Post shift hours are from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 24-hour weekend call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM at least once a month and one post shift per week. The facility can call off once per two-week pay period.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS and BLS. Education and experience include 5 years of relevant experience, with screening possible at 3+ years. Epic electronic health record system experience is required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required; candidates with 3+ years will be screened. First-timers accepted; candidates with 5+ years of experience must be screened if less than 5 years.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Additional Requirements: Must be able to perform open vascular, endovascular, hybrid room, and cardiovascular procedures. RTO (time off requests) must be included at the time of submission.
• Notes: Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility. No pending license is accepted.
