Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing acute care in a high-volume trauma and teaching emergency department setting. The assigned shifts are rotating days, mids, or nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Portland, Oregon
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts with rotating schedule (Days, Mids, or Nights)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC* (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PMAB Training*
• Education & Experience: 2 years of recent experience in a trauma or teaching emergency department, with proficiency in arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, STEMI and stroke certification, triage, and PASS+call out without art-line. Epic charting system experience is required.
• Responsibilities include arterial line management, vent care, central line care, managing dysrhythmias, procedural sedation, triage, and more in a Level I or Level II trauma center environment.
• Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
• Travel between sister facilities or affiliated hospitals may be required, with potential floating to different units based on skill set needs.
• Candidates should not contact facilities directly unless scheduled for an interview; all communication will be coordinated through designated recruitment contacts.
• Official start date: 08/03/2026
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine required; flu vaccine status unknown.
• Additional requirements: Must have valid certifications and experience in ER trauma settings. This position may involve working holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. RTO (Reasonable Time Off) requests must be submitted upfront and are subject to approval.
