A registered nurse (RN) specializing in medical-surgical care is sought for a facility located in Salida, Colorado. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment. The position offers night shifts with a schedule of three shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, including every other weekend.

• Required Qualifications: Valid and current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado; minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred; at least one year of nursing experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred.
• Schedule: Nights - 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week. The schedule will include every other weekend. No mandatory overtime, but overtime is allowable.
• Essential Duties: Provide evidence-based acute and swing bed patient care; evaluate patient health status; offer health teaching and counseling; execute medical functions; monitor therapy and treatment plans; document patient care accurately and timely; collaborate with ancillary departments and physicians to address patients' medical, social, and spiritual needs.
• Additional Information: The position requires a quick start and is open to candidates with no minimum years of experience.
