Description
Job Summary:
This position is for a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in Walnut Creek, California. The role involves providing specialized post-anesthesia patient care within a healthcare facility setting. Candidates are required to bring their California RN license on the first day. The position is scheduled for 12-hour day shifts and requires a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour days, 0900-2130 (may start at 0800 or 1000), with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: California registered nurse (RN) license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association only); at least 2+ years recent experience in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit; pediatric experience is mandatory
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN); previous travel experience; EPIC electronic medical records experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Will take call shiftstwo night calls and one weekend day call every six weeks.
