Job Summary:
The outpatient Endoscopy Lab in Mission Hills, California, is seeking a qualified Senior Endoscopy Technician. This role involves performing high-level disinfection, scope reprocessing, and assisting with various endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and EUS. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a consistent day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Job Details:

• Location: Mission Hills, California
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: - 3 years of Endoscopy experience - 3 years working in an endoscopy center or GI lab - Certified Surgical Tech (CST) or SGNA education completion for GI/Endoscopy - BLS certification - EPIC and ProVation experience preferred - Valid license to practice in the state of California
• Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with high-level disinfecting of procedural equipment, capsule endoscopy, and advanced scopes such as EBUS, EUS, and ERCP - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems like EPIC and ProVation
• Additional Information: This position is situated at a stand-alone outpatient endoscopy center performing procedures such as biopsies, polypectomies, PEG placements, banding, balloon dilations, and Bravo placements. The patient population primarily includes adults with ASA classes 1, 2, and 3. The facility handles 34-36 procedures daily with three gastroenterologists involved.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include all requested RTO at the time of submittal and answer whether they have previously worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem, including location and dates worked.
