Description
Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) in Portland, Oregon. This position involves supporting sterilization and instrument processing within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires flexibility to float between sister facilities nearby and active participation in holiday coverage.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, start date on 07/27/2026.
- Required Qualifications: 0 years of experience, Certification from CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPAS, current Oregon license, and proficiency in Epic electronic medical record system.
- Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in sterile processing, acute hospital OR experience, knowledge of robotics systems such as Da Vinci Surgical Systems, and experience with high-level disinfection and sterilizer use.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location. Must have a vehicle for the assignment. Active participation in holiday work (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) is required. Candidates must respond to specific screening questions regarding prior employment at the facility and residency requirements.
