Description
Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical (MS) registered nurse is needed for a position at a healthcare facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will join the Medicine Unit, providing patient care in a dynamic environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. This role involves working in a rotating shift schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday as needed per unit.

- Required Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland nursing license (or applicable license for the state)
- Two or more years of Medical Surgical (MS) nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous employment experience within Johns Hopkins health system or similar facilities
- Additional Information:
- Candidates must verify prior employment with any Johns Hopkins facilities and note this on the coversheet and in the work history if applicable
- Applicants who previously worked as staff, PRN, or travel employees at Johns Hopkins facilities must be gone for at least one full year before applying as a traveler
- Flexibility required for holiday shifts as needed
