Job Summary:
A Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in San Luis Obispo, California. This role involves providing patient care in a MedSurg/Telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac and medical patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend, and the work schedule begins on 07/20/2026.
Job Details:
- Location: San Luis Obispo, California

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, every other weekend, with first to float between units
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, COVID-19 vaccination required
- Required Qualifications: Valid license, minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry or similar units, current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and COVID-19 vaccination
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required between the MedSurg/Tele units
- Additional Information: Cancellation policy allows hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (or 3 for shorter assignments). Charting system used is Cerner. No BSN is required.
- Work environment: Acute care setting with a focus on cardiac, surgical, orthopedic, and medical patients, including post-procedure and post-surgical monitoring
