Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Special Procedures Technician I position located in Peoria, Illinois. The role involves assisting physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in a high-energy EP Laboratory setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Peoria, Illinois
- Specialty: Electro Physiology Lab (EP LAB)
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts with call on weekends and nights
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; BLS (AHA) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience; willing to wait for license submission; active IL license required; shift hours are 10 per day; minimum hours per week are 40.

- Additional Information: The department has 11 employees including 4 Electrophysiologists, operates 2 procedure rooms, and performs approximately 5-10 procedures daily depending on the type of procedure scheduled. The unit is Monday through Friday, with Saturday call rotating from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Submission Requirements: Last four digits of clinician's SSN, middle initial, requested time off, active Illinois license or proof of application, understanding of drug-free campus policy and negative drug screening requirement.
