Job Summary:
This OR Technician (Operating Room Technician) position is located in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves supporting surgical procedures across various specialties, including neuro and orthopedic surgeries, with significant case volume. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that utilizes advanced surgical technology and promotes team collaboration.

Job Details:

  • Location: Omaha, Nebraska
  • Certifications Required: BLS (American Heart Association); CST preferred but not mandatory
  • Qualifications: Valid drivers license; experience in neuro and orthopedic surgeries; robotics experience; minimum of 0 years of experience indicated
  • Schedule: 8 and 12 hour shifts, typically from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with midshift hours Monday through Thursday from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, plus call responsibilities
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association); CST preferred not required. Education and experience: qualifications include a drivers license and relevant surgical experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro and orthopedic cases, robotics experience
  • Additional Information: The role involves assisting in a range of surgical procedures including neuro, orthopedic, plastics, eye, ENT, thoracic, endoscopy, and pediatric emergency procedures. Working with advanced surgical tools such as Da Vinci Robot x3, Stealth, O-arm, and holmium lasers is expected. No floating outside of the OR is required. RTO (Right to Operate) requests must be submitted upfront for up to 7 days per 13-week contract, with no additional RTO approved after submission.
