Description

Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse position in Boise, Idaho. This role involves providing specialized care to cardiac and general telemetry patients, with a focus on post-procedural cardiac experience such as cath lab procedures, ablations, and open heart. The candidate must bring their license on the first day of assignment. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a schedule that typically spans six weeks, requiring flexibility for weekend and holiday work.

Job Details:

  • Location: Boise, Idaho
  • Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS Certifications; NIHSS; Idaho state nursing license; 2 years of experience in telemetry or post-procedural cardiac care; experience with EPIC electronic medical record system; ability to read and interpret telemetry strips and document appropriately; willing to submit license and wait if necessary.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in post-procedural cardiac settings (cath lab, ablations, open heart); PCU and Stepdown experience.
  • Additional Information:
    • Cancellation policy: Four shifts per 13-week assignment.
    • May be asked to work holidays; holiday work not expected every holiday.
    • Traveler-friendly facility with positive leadership support and a history of traveler extensions.
    • Orientation includes two shifts (one on each unit).
    • Float: Traveler is first to float to any telemetry or medical surgical units within the hospital or to sister facilities in Meridian and Nampa.
    • Scrubs provided, any color.
