Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a Clinical Coordinator role is needed for a facility located in Salem, Virginia. • Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Familiarity with post-operative patients. Competent with dressing changes, wound care, drain management. Certifications, education requirements, and experience level are not specified beyond 0 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with skills familiar with post-operative patient care, dressing changes, wound care, and drain management will be considered first.
• Additional Information: The role requires working within a medical surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6. The environment utilizes Meditech electronic medical records and includes equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and sequential compression devices (SCDs). The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, a strong patient advocate, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Dress code is navy blue or white scrubs; hoodies, pull-overs, and T-shirts are not permitted.
