Description

Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Cardiovascular (CVICU) Clinician position is located in Prescott, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized critical care for cardiovascular patients in a high-acuity setting. The successful candidate must bring their license on the first day. The position requires working 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays, with the expectation to float as needed across departments. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a CVICU setting.

Job Details:

  • Location: Prescott, AZ
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights, 7/7 schedule
  • Required Qualifications: ACLS and BLS certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU Cardiovascular environment; familiarity with skills such as IABP, CRRT, and fresh OHS from the OR; experience with EMR system Cerner; current licensure.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Impella experience is desired.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week, with a requirement to work 2 weekend shifts per pay period, which may fall on Fridays or Saturdays depending on unit needs. Holiday work is also required.
  • Additional Information: The role involves managing common diagnoses such as AMI, CAD, and PVD. Candidates will utilize equipment including vents, BiPap, Cpap, Vapotherm, and HiFlow. In-room monitors are used, but RNs do not read strips. Float to ICU, PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units across both campuses may be necessary based on department needs. The unit is staffed with Intensivists and RT in ICU 24/7. In addition, the department values experience with titratable and set-rate drips such as Dex, Propofol, Dopamine, Neo, Epi, Levo, Insulin, and Cardene.
