Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for a facility located in Weston, Wisconsin. This role involves providing care for labor, post-partum, and C-section patients, following AWHONN guidelines. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position involves 12-hour night shifts, with the possibility of variable hours, and requires self-scheduling.

Job Details:

• Location: Weston, WI
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, nights are the biggest need but could be variable; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Education & Experience: Certified Registered Nurse with a license to submit; minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred, though the job order indicates 0 years experience are acceptable for consideration
• Clinical Skills: Experience with labor and delivery, cesarean section recovery (unless under general anesthesia), titrating drips, IV medications to induce labor, epidurals, and use of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) systems such as Novii and GES
• Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the L&D unit, including high-acuity cases such as vaginal births, cesareans, inductions, and care for special neonatal patients. The charge nurse and house supervisor roles are part of the team, with the agency serving only as the clinical staff provider.
• Additional Notes: Floating to other units as staffing allows, no call or standby requirements, hospital-supplied scrubs, and a dedicated unit/orientation involving two shifts. All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility. Prior employment with the facility requires end date details, and clinicians must note if they have previously worked for Marshfield.
