Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) on nights in Lincoln, Nebraska. The position involves providing patient care to adult medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients in an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
• Responsibilities include caring for patients with various diagnoses, collaborating with charge nurses, nurse aides, and telemetry staff, and adhering to established clinical protocols.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Licensure: Driver's license required at submittal, with submission approval contingent upon license verification.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a comparable setting.
• Schedule: Nights, with shift hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Orientation: First week includes classroom training followed by two 12-hour shifts on the floor.
• Float: Floating to PCU or Burn units may be required.
• Requirements: RTO (request to orient) needed upfront (7 days or less per 13-week contract); additional RTO will not be approved afterward.
• Additional job details such as hospital policy and specific patient care protocols are based on the current assignment.
