Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Staff Nurse position located in Jamestown, North Dakota. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care for patients of all ages in an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a rotating shift schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Jamestown, North Dakota
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, variable hours; will not work alone; every 3rd weekend required
• Required Qualifications: Active Compact or North Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least 1 year of ER experience; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with cardiac knowledge preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in emergency department nursing; experience with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) and ASAP module with training provided
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes specify a need for cardiac knowledge and a minimum of 1 year ER experience
  • Orientation includes hospital and department-specific training
  • Float to other units/departments is not required
  • Standard dress code is black scrubs
  • Commitment to a 12-hour shift schedule, working every third weekend, with no solo shifts or float requirements
  • Nursing ratio varies depending on patient volume, dependent on ED busyness
  • Vaccinations required include a flu shot
