Job Summary:
An experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse is needed in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing care in a high-volume labor and delivery unit, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies, including VBACs, Caesareans, and natural births. Candidates are required to bring their Massachusetts license on the first day of assignment. The position starts on July 27, 2026, and involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Job Details:
- Location: Boston, MA
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery Department
- Schedule: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), working a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts Nursing License; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or higher; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; Tertiary/high-risk experience in Labor and Delivery; Experience in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU); Epic electronic medical record system experience; No minimum years of experience specified; Must have Labor and Delivery and high-risk experience; Unit requires candidates to be able to float between Labor and Delivery and postpartum units.
- Additional Information:
- No first-time travelers accepted
- No local travelers (residing within 50 miles of the facility) accepted
- Weekly orientation every Monday (barring holidays)
- Candidates must provide interview availability upon submission
- Travelers previously employed by the organization within the last year are ineligible; separated for one year required
- Parking costs can be up to $43 per day; public transportation is available.
