Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) at an acute care facility located in Dixon, Illinois. The position involves providing care to antepartum, labor and delivery, and level 2 nursery patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The shift is 12-hour nights, and the start date is 08/31/2026.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably 2 or more; EMR: EPIC - Community Works; vaccinations: negative drug screen; requested time off and last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN required for submission
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for gynecological surgical patients, antepartum, labor, delivery, and level 2 nursery
• Float: Rotation with permanent staff; providing help to other departments during surges
• Equipment/Procedures: Caring for gynecological surgical patients beyond primary responsibilities
• Practice environment: Baby-friendly unit, high-risk antepartum and L&D patients, and level 2 nursery with overflow beds
• Patient Population: Antepartum, high-risk L&D patients, level 2 nursery
• Charting System: EPIC - Community Works
• Scrubs: Provided

• Orientation: On-unit, 3 days, with testing and possible classroom learning
