Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in Lufkin, Texas, at an acute care facility. This role involves providing care for women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and well-baby care. The assignment requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Lufkin, Texas
• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; every other week
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid license, BLS Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:

  • Shift notes: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., every other week
  • C-Section circulations are not required; the unit handles that
  • Nurses should be comfortable caring for well-babies, postpartum moms, and labor patients
  • Cancellation Policy: The hospital may cancel up to 4 times per 13-week contract, or 3 times if 12 weeks or less. Cancellations may be for full shifts or parts of shifts.
