Job Summary:
The ICU Neurological specialty position is located in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves caring for acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and post-surgical neurosurgical patients requiring invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, frequent neurological assessments, and hemodynamic monitoring. The position requires providing care for 19-bed neurosurgical intensive care unit (ICU) patients with a typical shift schedule during daytime hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher, at least 1 year of ICU neuro experience, and the ability to work in Cleveland, Ohio.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute stroke, SAH, seizures, post-surgical neurosurgical monitoring, and familiarity with routine imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, and Angiography.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The candidate will manage 2-3 patient assignments, with potential need to float to other ICUs or step-down units as required. Responsibilities include invasive intracranial pressure management, neurological assessments, and routine neuroimaging.
