Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Location not specified. This role involves providing critical surgical patient care in a fast-paced environment within the organizations operating suites. The OR Nurse will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications and experience required for position: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room setting with prior travel experience; no minimum experience requirement noted.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with night and weekend call responsibilities for nights and weekends. Shifts start times will be discussed with the Director. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies and timely case management, effective communication with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
• Additional requirements: Must be able to take call for nights and weekends.
