Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Traveler Nurse position is available in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical Floor with a typical shift duration of 12 hours during daytime hours. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The healthcare organization seeks dedicated professionals to join their team for an upcoming assignment starting on 07/27/2026.

Job Details:

• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
• Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) with current BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and ACLS (AHA) certifications. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience, including telemetry experience. Basic Dysrhythmia course completion and willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit are required. Experience with Meditech Expanse system highly preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holidays if needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Travelers must have reliable transportation.
  • Profiles submitted must include specific interview dates and times of availability.
  • All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests after offer may be rescinded.
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
  • The assignment start date is 07/27/2026.
  • Please ensure the Massachusetts RN license is uploaded with the profile.
  • Fail to include RTO requests at submission will result in delays; all RTO must be included upfront.
  • Profiles will not be presented without specific interview availability.
  • No block scheduling allowed.
  • The traveler must include permanent address in the profile.
  • For consideration, must be willing to float to any Medical Surgical unit and be pre-closed on a 48-hour guarantee before upload.
  • The unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:6.
