Description
Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery is needed in Kennewick, Washington. This position involves providing patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit, with a focus on flexibility and good communication skills. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: Kennewick, WA
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current State License, Fetal monitoring, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 2+ years recent acute experience, experience in Labor and Delivery, and familiarity with electronic health records (Centricity and Paragon).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OR circulation, mother/baby, and triage (preferred but not required).
- Additional Information: Unit handles approximately 110 deliveries per month; equipment includes EHR systems Centricity and Paragon; unit composed of 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, and 3 triage beds; patient ratios adhere to AWHONN guidelines; must be greater than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel.
