Job Summary:
The staffing organization is seeking qualified candidates for a Step Down Unit in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role involves providing care for patients with conditions such as Chest Pain, COPD, AMS, Pneumonia, UTI, and Abdominal Pain within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
• Specialty: Step Down Unit
• Shift Schedule: 7:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Certifications: BLS Certification mandatory
• Experience Requirements: 2 years of relevant experience; Licenses must be valid, and candidates must be willing to wait for license approval
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; certifications include BLS; 2 years of experience; willingness to wait for license submission; experience with EPIC electronic medical record system; ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays; COVID-19 vaccination with proof of full vaccination status (Moderna, Pfizer, or J&J)
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit only one application at a time within the WVU system; drivers' licenses must be issued outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; previous permanent or travel candidates must meet the required waiting periods; travel teams must be submitted together in a single email; all submittals must include an unexpired copy of the candidate's drivers license; work schedule includes integrating into the permanent staff's holiday schedule; float rotation may be required, and candidates should be prepared to be assigned to various floors or units.
