Description

Job Summary:
This Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position is located in Sanford, North Carolina. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves providing emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities spanning trauma, resuscitation, and general emergency treatments. The shift is scheduled for 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and every other weekend and some holidays are required.

Job Details:

  • Location: Sanford, NC
  • Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week minimum
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), de-escalation training (HWC, CPI or MAB), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), 2 years of emergency nursing experience, must be greater than 60 miles from the facility to be considered travel.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency medicine, psychiatric emergency room experience is a plus.
  • Additional Information: Float: Float rotation may be required. The patient population includes all ages, with common diagnoses such as COPD, DKA, Sepsis, Cardiac Emergencies, Neurological Emergencies, and stroke. The ideal candidate is a fast-paced, multi-tasker who embraces a dynamic environment and works well as part of a team. No open-toed footwear, spandex pants, or sweatshirts are permitted.
  • Unit Information: Emergency Department with 21 beds (including telemetry, behavioral health, and fast track beds).
  • Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, minimum 36 hours per week, every other weekend and some holidays.
