Description
Job Summary:
An Operating Room Technician (ORT) position is available in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced, Level I trauma setting, with experience in a variety of surgical procedures including general, gynecological, endoscopic, urological, orthopedic, plastics, and ENT surgeries. The candidate is required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position is scheduled to start on 07/12/2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Schedule: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Shift Hours: 10 hours per day
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Surg Tech Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)
- Valid license to practice as an Operating Room Technician
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting a Level I trauma setting
- Experience with da Vinci robotic systems
- Additional Information:
- Recent OR experience since 2016 with at least 8 years of operating room experience
- Experience with electronic medical records, specifically Meditech
- Key skill set includes procedures in general, gynecology, endoscopy, urology, some orthopedic, plastics, ENT surgeries
