Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is located in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves providing care to critically ill patients, including those with trauma, post-surgical conditions, and multi-system trauma. Candidates must hold an active Illinois license and are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) certifications, 1 year of ICU experience, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level I trauma, ICU skills, and proficiency in titrating drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, including coverage on stepdown and general medical units with varying patient loads.
• Additional Information: The role includes participation in holiday shifts every other holiday, and the nurse will receive unit-specific orientation, including training with EPIC and shadowing with a preceptor.
• Other Details: Standard unit notes and policies apply, including compliance with the organizations drug-free campus policy and submission of the last four digits of the clinicians SSN and middle initial for application purposes.
